초록

This research proposes a new console layout for main control room (MCR) in nuclear power plant under the digital environments. To make a new layout, classic systematic layout planning (SLP) method will be deployed. A survey of 43 operators in MCR was executed to reflect their opinions. Communication frequency between operators was observed and recorded in MCR. And these data was considered when applying SLP to make a material flow matrix. Several alternatives are developed by using the facilities layout applet/application (FLAP) and evaluated to find a best layout.
